SMAS Site Management
The SMAS Contractor Portal provides client organisations with a unique set of tools in enabling them to effectively manage sub-contractors. The Site Management area of the Contractor Portal enables organisations to compile a list of their current active sites in development and apply the contractors currently working on those sites, so that they are easily visible and can be monitored by location.
When organisations have a number of live sites which are managed by different teams, the ability to separate these into individual views in the SMAS Contractor Portal enables them to manage them more efficiently; as well as quickly identify significant areas of risk e.g. sites where a significant number of contractors are live on-site but do not have a valid SSiP certificate registered.
The Site Overview chart gives you a high level view of how many sites are currently in your region and their combined compliance. This provides you a top level view of your overall compliance across your entire organisation; broken down by all live development sites.
The “Your Sites” section enables you to be able to see a quick summary of each live site, including their general compliance level, number of contractors on site, and number of contractors on-site who are not approved. A simple traffic light system gives you an immediate view of the site compliance. Green = 100% compliance. Red = a % of contractors on-site are not approved and require your attention.
You can also use the search/ filter function on this page to locate sites. You can add a new site by simply completing the Site code, Site name and postcode. This new site will then appear in the list of “Your Sites”
