SMAS Worksafe response to Covid-19

In response to the ongoing spread of the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) in the UK, SMAS Worksafe has taken the decision to close their Plymouth office for at least 14 days and enabled staff to work from home.

This decision was taken after considering the safety of our SMAS Worksafe employees as well as aiding the prevention of spreading the virus.

The impact of closing the office will be minimal, as employees will continue to work their regular hours and phone calls into the business will be transferred and answered by staff working from home.

Managing Director, Danny Marinou said, “The health of our staff during this time is at the forefront of our minds and the decision to close the office was not one taken lightly. We have listened to the advice given out by Government and if by closing our office helps curb the spread of Coronavirus, then it’s something we must do. I would like to thank both our members for their understanding during this time as well as our staff, who have continued to deliver the high level of service SMAS Worksafe has become renowned for.”
