Taylor Wimpey choose SMAS Worksafe

SMAS Worksafe are delighted to announce that we are now working with Taylor Wimpey Bristol to support their contractor management systems, and to ensure that all their subcontractors and suppliers can demonstrate that they are adequately resourced and competent in their ability to manage all HSE aspects of their works as required by the Construction [Design and Management] Regulations 2015 [CDM2015]

Taylor Wimpey build and sell over 15,000 homes each year across 24 UK based business units. They also make a positive contribution to the communities in which they work by developing infrastructure and making financial contributions to local authorities to enhance communities. Taylor Wimpey Bristol build over 700 homes every year on developments across Bristol, Somerset, Gloucester & Wiltshire.

From the start of July 2019 all contractors and suppliers working with Taylor Wimpey Bristol will be required to hold a valid SSIP certificate as a minimum requirement and to have that certificate registered with SMAS Worksafe.

SMAS will shortly initiate an onboarding campaign for all contractors and suppliers who work with Taylor Wimpey Bristol and support them through the process.
