How long does an SSSTS certificate last?

What are the SSSTS course requirements?

If you are a site supervisor or have supervisory responsibilities (in charge of three or more employees) with at least 12 months experience the the SSSTS online course is suitable for you.

Below are the SSSTS course requirements that any candidate should meet before enrolling on the course:

  • Applicants should be competent in English at the site supervisor level as they will need to communicate with others on site and understand safety instructions, regulations, and procedures.
  • All candidates should be working in the construction sector and currently hold or are working towards a site supervisor position.
  • Candidates who need to resit the test have a 90-day window from the original course date with which they can retake the test at an additional cost.
